Program of Food Science and Technology

Objectives

1- To produce undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the food industry, academia, government and research organizations.
2- To promote and facilitate research programs that will enhance the wholesomeness and availability of food and add value to raw agricultural products.
3- To establish links between universities and research institutions, government, private sector, organization and consumers.
4- To provide consultancy and advisory services to food industries.
5- To protect the environment by producing environmentally safe food products.
6- To preserve the Sudanese indigenous food knowledge and to develop the industry of these foods.
